I know we have not talked about college baseball before on this site, but I believe what starts the summer is the College World Series.

This is time for baseball to shine and shine it will.  The CWS is going to be a great 2 out of 3 game series between Arkansas and Oregon State.

Both teams have had great years and many thought that at least one of these teams would be in this championship series.

The time is here for baseball to take center stage of the sports world and I believe this series will take center stage in a big way.

These two teams are stacked with Major League talent.

Arkansas comes into the series at 47-19.  They had 11 players drafted in the MLB draft three weeks ago.  They struggled on the road but were dominate at home and have done great so far in Omaha, going 3-0 beating Texas, Texas Tech and the number one team in the nation in Florida.

Oregon State lost their first game in Omaha and had to come back the hard way. They had to beat Mississippi State twice to get into the championship game.  OSU had a great year going 53-11-1.  They had three players drafted in the first round and six overall.

These two teams will put on a great series and I, for one, cannot wait until they get on a field together and play some ball.

This series will be one of the better ones in the last few years.  These two teams hit the ball and put up some runs. They also pitch when they need to so it will be a pretty close couple of games.

My prediction for the series is that Arkansas wins in 3 games.
