The Cleveland Indians (30-28) will take on the Milwaukee Brewers (37-23) at home at Progressive Field at 7:10 PM EST.

RHP Corey Kluber gets the nod for the Indians against RHP Junior Guerra who will start for the Brewers. Both teams are in first place of their respective divisions.

Cleveland Indians

The Cleveland Indians offense is led by 3B Jose Ramirez who is hitting .299 and has hit 18 HRs along with 41 RBIs. Edwin Encarnacion is just behind Ramirez with 16 HRs and 40 RBIs. The offense is the bright spot for the Tribe as they lead the American League Central.

Corey Kluber will get the start for Cleveland as they look to add a win to their record. He is currently 8-2 with a 2.02 ERA which has him second in the American League. Kluber is coming off a Cy Young year and looking to repeat. The bullpen has struggled with a 6.08 ERA putting them in last for the season.

Milwaukee Brewers

The Brewers are 15th in runs scored led - by Travis Shaw with 13 HRs and 36 RBI's. The offense should be interesting to watch as the season continues.

Junior Guerra gets the start for the Brewers. He is 3-3 with a 2.65 ERA. He seems to be rebounding well from an off 2017. Guerra is 11th in ERA in the National League. The story with pitching for the Brewers is their bullpen which is led by Josh Hader who leads the team in strikeouts with 69 in only 34.1 Innings pitched. He also leads Major League relievers in Strikeouts.

Keys to Success

For the Indians to be successful they will need to attack early to score. Kluber will also need to go deep to keep their bullpen out of the game.

The Brewers will need to work the count to get to bullpen quickly. Guerra will need to pitch well and turn the game over to the bullpen.

Final Thoughts

This game puts two teams who are in first place in their division in this interleague matchup.
This game should be a fun one to watch.

The Brewers will utilize a Designated Hitter, which they do not normally do so that should be interesting to see. The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports-Wisconson and Sports Time Ohio.
